At Go Daddy, every individual does whatever it takes to make things happen on a day-to-day basis to keep our customers happy. We help our customers grow their small businesses and their online web presence, either by working directly with them or by continuously improving our products and services.
To celebrate and reward our hard work and dedication to making our customers happy, Go Daddy sponsors regular team-building activities called Employee Appreciation Initiatives (EAI). Groups can plan a day outside of the office to build relationships among co-workers, promote communication and teamwork, and most of all to relax and have some fun. And when Go Daddy says fun, we really mean it! Go Daddy has even been spotlighted by Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list for our extraordinary EAI activities. Employees have enjoyed everything from golfing in the valley to skiing in Northern Arizona. Here are some pictures of our adventures.
The picture at the top of this post is from an outing to go snowboarding and downhill skiing at Snowbowl in Flagstaff, Arizona. Of course we took the Go Daddy van to promote our trip as we traveled up and down the I-17 freeway!
On another occasion, staying closer to home, after a fulfilling lunch we spent the afternoon miniature golfing and playing laser tag.
You think there are too many cooks in your kitchen? This team decided to take cooking lessons and as a bonus got to eat their own creations! This event was way too much fun.
Some of the best golf courses in the United States are located in the Phoenix, Arizona valley. We are sure to take advantage of the weather and the beautiful scenery.
If you think that is great scenery, imagine the beautiful views seen by 15 Go Daddy employees who got into a hot air balloon basket and spent a morning in the sky overlooking our beautiful desert!
And if that wasn’t exhilarating enough, how about simulated sky diving? Now that‘s a thrill! The wind, the form, and the adrenaline!!
As you can see, we have a lot of fun at Go Daddy. We definitely live by the motto: work hard, play hard. As Bob Parsons always likes to say, “We’re not here for a long time; we’re here for a good time!” We put in a lot of long hours and work very hard at our jobs, and it’s awesome that Go Daddy recognizes that with the EAIs.
