Kurt started working at Go Daddy in April 2007 in the hosting department. He started as an internal hosting tools developer, moved up to lead developer, and eventually became the team’s Software Development Manager. Kurt has also worked on internal tools for the productivity apps team. In June 2011, Kurt started contributing to the WordPress core.
Kurt graduated from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI (yes, he’s a yooper). He shoveled too much snow and had to move to Arizona.
In his spare time, Kurt likes to make inside jokes about Futurama and Firefly and is bewildered when others don’t understand them. Kurt enjoys fine dining when his wife makes him eat at restaurants that use silverware and hopes to have kids one day so he can tell them stories about what life was like when payphones existed and nothing had an API.
